Our Story

In 2005, Chad Bryant and two partners opened their doors as full-service surveying and engineering firm. Ocmulgee, Inc. provided quality service to the southeast. Within that time the company grew and expanded its services.

In 2018, Ocmulgee Inc. began operating as Bryant Engineering, LLC, under the direction of Chad Bryant. Bryant Engineering continues to offer engineering, planning, and consulting services, just as it had before for over 12 years. The change has allowed him to concentrate his efforts on strengthening client relationships and services within his field of expertise. The office is located in historic downtown Perry.

In 2019, Bryant Engineering opened its second location in downtown Forsyth. The new office has allowed the firm to better serve its clients throughout the state. The team is led by branch manager Jennie Caldwell.

Wellston Park

The Wellston Trees and Greens Committee for the city of Warner Robins contacted Bryant Engineering to provide our expertise in their large community project to expand the existing Wellston Park.  This project created the first public passive park for the city.  This site is a 35+ acre parcel of donated property to include paved nature trails, a dog park, public restrooms, pavilion/gazebo, administrative offices, and meeting rooms. Bryant Engineering donated our engineering and surveying services for this exciting project.

Robins Regional Chamber

The Military Affairs Committee has had a strong focus on helping the airman – active duty, civilian, retired, and separated – become a welcomed part of the Robins Region community. Chad Bryant served as Chairman in 2014. Under his leadership, his committee produced the Congressional Dinner, Robins Cup Golf Tournament, and State of the Base Address.

Chad Bryant serves as a Robins Regional Chamber board member.

Design Committee for Perry Main Street

Bryant Engineering’s Lindsay Young recently served on the design committee. As a representative of a design firm, Lindsay brought knowledge to help with the aesthetics of downtown Perry, such as building rehabs, storefront designs, signage, parking, street furniture, public art, landscaping, window displays, and maintenance.

The committee encourages the restoration or rehabilitation of historic properties, encourages appropriate new construction, and advocates sensitive design projects and planning for community growth and redevelopment. The committee also organizes heritage education and historic preservation awareness programs and projects.

Perry Buzzard Drop Planning Committee

Bryant Engineering provides event support for this unique event on New Year’s Eve in Downtown Perry, featuring live entertainment that draws thousands from all around.
