Our Story
Founded in Middle Georgia — A Legacy Built Since 2005
Bryant Engineering, LLC traces its roots back to 2005, when Chad Bryant, P.E. and two partners founded Ocmulgee, Inc. in Perry, Georgia — a full-service surveying and engineering firm dedicated to providing high-quality service throughout the Southeast. Over the next decade, the company grew steadily, expanding both its capabilities and its client base across Houston County and the broader Middle Georgia region.
From Ocmulgee, Inc. to Bryant Engineering, LLC
In 2018, Ocmulgee, Inc. began operating as Bryant Engineering, LLC, under the continued leadership of Chad Bryant. While the name changed, the firm’s commitment to delivering exceptional engineering, planning, and consulting services remained the same — building on more than 12 years of proven experience serving clients across Middle Georgia. The transition allowed Chad to focus even more deeply on strengthening client relationships and enhancing the specialized services that define the company today.
Expanding Our Leadership Team in Perry, Georgia
In 2025, Chad Bryant, P.E. expanded the firm’s leadership team by adding John Michael Cosey, P.E. as a partner. With his addition, Bryant Engineering strengthened its capacity for advanced civil design, regulatory coordination, and multi-disciplinary project delivery across Georgia and North Carolina.
Cosey’s background in infrastructure systems, site development, hydrology, and municipal engineering complements Bryant’s long-standing expertise in planning, engineering design, and client-focused project management. Together, their combined technical experience enhances the firm’s ability to provide rigorous quality control, responsive problem-solving, and engineering solutions grounded in constructability and long-term performance.
Our Commitment to Middle Georgia and Beyond
The partnership reinforces Bryant Engineering’s commitment to professional integrity, technical excellence, and responsible engineering practice — ensuring that clients across Middle Georgia, Houston County, and the broader Southeast receive well-coordinated, cost-effective, and sustainable results on every project.
